CTMI Announces Acquisition of Easley, McCaleb & Associates to Create Leading National Property Tax, Sales & Use Tax, and Expense Recovery Firm

    Dallas, Texas, November 4th, 2015 –

Dallas-based property tax and expense recovery firm CTMI has acquired Easley, McCaleb & Associates ("EMA"), a national property tax firm based in Atlanta. The transaction bolsters CTMI's position as one of America's leading national tax consulting firms. The deal closed October 30, 2015.

The company will operate as CTMI, LLC after the acquisition. Leadership will remain in place with Mark Boozer continuing to lead CTMI as Managing Partner in Dallas and former EMA owner Blaine McCaleb serving as Managing Director in Atlanta. There will be no change in client service teams and all offices will remain in their current locations.

As a result of this transaction, CTMI will leverage the best practices, market intelligence and complementary expertise of both firms. In addition to operating four offices in Texas; Dallas, Fort Worth, Henderson and Houston, CTMI will now have additional offices in Atlanta, Fort Lauderdale/Miami, Milwaukee, Orlando, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington, D.C.

"We believe this is a great strategic fit for our business and our clients are the big winners here," said Mark Boozer, CTMI Managing Partner. "Our combined expertise, services, national footprint and technology will result in an even stronger value proposition to our clients. We can deliver the resources of a large firm with a small company feel."

CTMI provides three core services-expense recovery, sales and use tax and property tax consulting. Leveraging the expertise of the two firms will allow CTMI to provide a broader range of expense recovery and tax savings services to all clients.

Ranking among the top 20 property tax and recovery firms in the U.S., CTMI is recognized for its leading edge business practices and use of proprietary technology to enhance client services through efficiency and speed in service delivery and reporting.

Starbucks' Property and Business Tax Manager Sr., Sheryl Bennett-Holland, remarked, "CTMI is Starbuck's trusted partner in our co-sourced property tax management team. I am always treated like I am their only customer and their highest priority."

Blaine McCaleb, former EMA owner noted, "EMA was interested in joining CTMI because we share similar cultures and a business philosophy of responsiveness, transparency and communications with clients. CTMI also has the resources and technology to enable us to grow faster and to offer additional services to our current real estate clients."

Forty-year-old EMA was one of the oldest and largest national property tax consulting firm based in Atlanta. It is recognized for its work for real estate clients with large property portfolios nationwide in various asset classes.

    CTMI LAUNCHES NEW WESBITE

    Ft. Worth Texas, January 10th, 2011 –

CTMI, LLC announces the launch of a new website at www.ctmi.com along with a new tag line “Recover Your Lost Profits.”
A lost profit results every time an overpayment occurs, a credit is not taken, an available deduction is not made or an exemption is not fully leveraged.   At CTMI, we recover your lost profits as a boutique Expense Recovery and Tax consulting firm.

“We felt it was necessary to rebrand our firm so that our current and future clients fully recognize the extent of the recovery services that we offer.  While many clients have enjoyed recoveries and savings across multiple platforms, some only know us as an accounts payable audit firm, a sales tax or a property tax consulting firm.

It is the synergy of our service offering that differentiates CTMI according to Mark Boozer, President.  We just felt it was time for us to fully share our value proposition through the introduction of our new website.   Our goal is to become a strategic partner to the accounting and tax departments of our clients.   We have the technology and expertise to recover big savings across our three core areas of specialty.”

Let CTMI recover your lost profits!
